National Alpaca Farm Day

National Alpaca Farm Day at Perry Farm Alpacas

Saturday, September 29, 2018

10am – 3pm

Perry Farm Alpacas will be celebrating our 3rd annual National Alpaca Farm Day.  Please join us for this unique family-friendly, free event on Saturday, September 29 from 10am – 3pm, rain or shine.  Stay tuned for additional details (we are planning to have live music and FFA will also be on the farm to help).

Learn about the care and handling of alpacas directly from your local alpaca farmers. You will even have an opportunity to feed an alpaca or two!  We’ll also have raw fleece on display so you can touch and feel why alpaca is called a luxury fiber.

Start you holiday shopping early. Browse a variety of hand-made alpaca fleece products – you never know what one-of-a kind item you may find. We will also have wearable alpaca – scarves, hats and gloves – all made in the USA.

You will also meet the wonderful chickens of Perry Farm Alpacas!  We have over 20 breeds plus a couple chicks born on the farm.  The eggs they produce are truly free range and come in every color that chickens can make.

Don’t forget to say hello the farm protectors, our Anatolian Shepherd Dogs.  They live with the flock and the herd, keeping every member safe from the many predators in the area.

No reservations are required.  Please leave your pets at home – no dogs will be permitted on the farm.  We look forward to seeing you and sharing the fun we have raising alpacas!
